Jolsah is the prince of the Mortok tribe and Chief Mehema's son. He's spoiled, rude, and lonely. He meets Alk and Ilke one spring day he and his friends try out the raft the twins built. His wish in life is to make his father proud and become a great chieftain, although he's not really sure what a great chieftain should do.
